He has held senior marketing leadership roles at Samsara, Motorola Solutions, Avigilon, Axon, Hikvision, and HERE Technologies, among others, consistently delivering pipeline growth and scaling revenue at every stage. Alex’s expertise spans strategic Go-to-Market, demand generation, brand stewardship, and category creation, enabling companies to build high-performing marketing organizations and expand into global markets. He holds an MBA from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.

Since 2019, George Thangadurai has served as a founding partner at Avataar Venture Partners, a growth-stage venture capital firm with over $1B AUM. He is an angel investor and advises early-stage startup companies. George also currently serves on the boards of Chef Robotics, Inc., an AI-powered robotics company, Chalo Mobility Ltd., an international transportation technology company, and Sonim Technologies Ltd., a publicly listed IoT solutions company. From September 2020 to October 2023, George served as Chief Executive Officer and a director of Heal Software, Inc., an AIOps company.
